25 years and counting

On the 14th of August, David and I celebrated our 25-year wedding anniversary.

Years full of love, laughter, the unbelievable, the incredible, the difficult and the magnificent. 

I honestly don't know how 25 years have passed. When I look back, there are the standout big milestones (like living in 3 countries, bringing into the world 2 incredible daughters, starting our own business together) but it's the everyday little things that mean the most. 

Holding hands. Enjoying dinner (his cooking, not mine!) Weekends away. Laughing at the ridiculous. Loving our girls. Christmas memories. Reading in bed. Winter hugs. Beach walks holding hands. Family adventures. Romantic evenings.

Wedding days are a celebration of love, and a promise of what we can be, which is why wedding photos are "picture perfect". 

Anniversaries are a celebration of what we actually are. That we have made it through the ups, downs, twists, and turns of another year. That we choose each other - again. 

In the 9,125 days we have spent together, there are 9,125 reasons why I love you  David Morgan. I intend to find another 9125 reasons in the next 25 years as well!
